Ever since I came back from Korea, I’m starting to take care of my skin. I never really used any skin product on my face except for facial wash but now I do the whole she-bang! Not as thorough as the video above but I’m getting there.
In the morning, I wash my face with Hadalabo Ultimate Moisturizing Facial Wash and then continue with TonyMoly Egg Pore Soap to minimize my pores (I just realized that they’re huge I swear you can see it from afar LOL). After I’m done with my bath, I put on L’oreal Hydrafresh Aqua Cream and then L’oreal UV Perfect on my face. At night, I remove my makeup with Mustika Ratu Bengkoang Whitening 2-in-1 Cleanser then I use Hadalabo Ultimate Moisturizing Facial Wash and TonyMoly Egg Pore Soap again. Once I dry my face with soft towel, I apply L’oreal White Perfect Clinical Overnight Treatment and leave it on until the next morning. For additional treatment, I put on Laneige Water Sleeping Pack every twice a week (every Tuesday and Friday) and sheet mask every once a week (on Monday). I’ve been doing this routine for a week now and I can see that my skin is more moisturized. My skin is dry and they tend to get flaky and cracked especially when I put on foundation + loose powder but now it’s smooth and supple even after I put on my makeup. It’s still far from perfect but it’s getting better.
As you can see, my skin care routine is still missing a few steps from the Korean skin care video I link above. A few of the skin care treatment that I’ve been planning to buy are: Missha First Treatment Essence which is a holy grail and a staple in Korean skin care, BanilaCo Clean It Zero for face cleansing, Skin Food Black Sugar Wash Off Mask for exfoliating and Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream for eye cream. I kinda wanna buy Innisfree Volcanic Pore Clay Mask because I’ve read reviews saying that it works really well to minimize large pores and remove blackheads but I’m already using TonyMoly Egg Pore Soap so I’m still not sure if I should buy it.
For those of you who wants to start taking care of your skin, please take note that skin care result is not instant so you can’t see it immediately but you will feel the difference in the long run. You can’t expect nice and perfect skin a week after you start treatment because that’s not how it works. You have to be patient and diligent. Remember that nothing worthwhile comes easily!
